Lifetime Warranty

WOW WOOD offers a lifetime warranty on every 3D wooden world map. If a small island, decorative element, or wooden pin is damaged or lost, WOW WOOD sends a free replacement from the EU warehouse in Poland. The warranty covers up to 15% of the map's components per calendar year. Register your map after purchase to activate lifetime coverage for all sizes and finishes.

What the Warranty Covers

After registering your map on the WOW WOOD website, you are entitled to free replacement of small components — up to 15% of the map's total area per calendar year. This includes:

  • Small islands and decorative elements that have been lost or damaged
  • Minor map parts affected during a move or reinstallation
  • Wooden pins with country flags — lost, bent, or broken

Replacement parts ship free from the EU warehouse in Poland. Typical delivery: 3–7 business days within the EU, with tracking included.

What's Not Covered

The lifetime warranty covers small parts only. It does not cover:

  • Large map panels such as continents
  • Full product replacement
  • Cosmetic preference changes
  • Damage caused by mounting on incompatible wall surfaces (see the Mounting Guide)
  • Damage resulting from intentional acts, misuse, or negligence
  • Commercial use wear beyond normal residential conditions

Natural patina development on untreated birch plywood over time is a characteristic of real wood and is not considered a defect.

How to Get a Replacement

  1. Register your map on the WOW WOOD website using the QR code in the brochure included with your order. Registration activates your lifetime warranty.
  2. Contact support — email hello@wow-wood.eu with your order number and a photo of the damaged or missing part. No forms to fill out. No returns required.
  3. Receive your replacement — the support team reviews your request and confirms within 1 business day. Your replacement ships free from the EU warehouse in Poland.

Important Conditions

  • The warranty covers no more than 15% of the total area of the map per calendar year.
  • The warranty remains valid for life as long as your map is registered.
  • WOW WOOD may request photographic evidence to process warranty requests.
  • The warranty does not replace your right to return the product within 30 days in accordance with the WOW WOOD return policy.
  • The warranty applies retroactively to all purchases, including those made before March 2025. Register your map to activate coverage.

FAQs

Is there a time limit on the lifetime warranty?

No. The WOW WOOD lifetime warranty has no expiration date. Whether your map is one month old or ten years old, replacement parts are available free of charge. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product — as long as you own your WOW WOOD map and it is registered.

Do I need to return the damaged piece?

No. WOW WOOD does not require you to return damaged pieces. Send a photo of the issue to hello@wow-wood.eu, and the replacement ships directly to you.

How many parts can I replace per year?

The warranty covers replacement of up to 15% of the map's components per calendar year. Within that allowance, every request for small parts and pins is fulfilled at no cost. The coverage renews each year.

Does the warranty apply to all sizes and finishes?

Yes. The lifetime warranty covers every WOW WOOD 3D wooden world map — all three sizes (M, L, XL) and all three finishes (Natural Wood, Dark Brown, Multicolor). Coverage is identical regardless of size, finish, or language version purchased.

How do I register my map?

Scan the QR code on the brochure included in your package, or follow the registration link on the WOW WOOD website. You will need your order number. Registration is required to activate the lifetime warranty.
