Choose Your Perfect Size
WOW WOOD maps come in three sizes: M (120×65 cm, €119), L (160×85 cm, €229), and XL (213×113 cm, €269). Use the 2/3 rule — your map should be about two-thirds the width of the furniture below it. Wider than 80% looks oversized. Leave 15–25 cm gap between map and furniture.
160–200 cm (2-seater, queen bed) → Size M
200–220 cm (dining table, console) → M or L
220–260 cm (3-seater, king bed) → Size L
280 cm+ (sectional, large console) → Size XL

Can I return my WOW WOOD map if I ordered the wrong size?
Yes. WOW WOOD offers free returns within 30 days across all 27 EU countries. If the size does not fit your space, return it in original packaging and we will process a full refund.
Which WOW WOOD size is most popular?
Size L (160×85 cm) is the bestseller. It fits above 3-seater sofas (220–260 cm wide) and looks proportional when the furniture fills most of the wall behind it. If your sofa is under 200 cm wide, Size M (120×65 cm) will be a better proportional match. If your wall section is wider than 350 cm, consider whether the sofa-and-map group fills enough of the space.
How heavy is each WOW WOOD map size?
Size M weighs 1.6 kg (3.5 lbs), Size L weighs 3.1 kg (6.8 lbs), and Size XL weighs 4.5 kg (9.9 lbs). All sizes mount with acrylic adhesive dots — no drilling required and no wall damage.
Are all three finishes available in every size?
Yes. Natural Wood, Dark Brown, and Multicolor are available in all three sizes (M, L, XL) at the same price per size. The finish does not affect dimensions, weight, or installation method.
Can I hang the map on a textured or painted wall?
The acrylic adhesive dots work on most wall surfaces including painted drywall, wallpaper, concrete, brick, and wood paneling. For heavily textured or freshly painted walls (under 30 days), test one adhesive dot first. See the full installation guide for surface-specific tips.
Which size should I buy as a gift if I do not know the recipient's wall?
Size M (120×65 cm) is the safest gift choice. It works above most standard 2-seater sofas and fits in nearly any room without requiring a large wall. If you know the recipient has a spacious living room with a 3-seater sofa or larger, Size L is a strong option. All sizes ship in premium gift packaging and include free returns within 30 days if the size does not fit.
How do I measure my wall before ordering?
Add 5–10 cm margin on each side of the map dimensions for visual breathing room. For Size L (160×85 cm), your wall should be at least 170×95 cm of unobstructed space. Measure the exact area between furniture edges, doorframes, or windows. Pro tip: use painter's tape to outline the map dimensions directly on your wall before ordering — you will see exactly how it fits.
